Benjamin Anastas

Join Anastas for the launch of "Too Good to Be True" at the venerable Brooklyn book-seller BookCourt.  There will be a short reading, an author Q&A, and good old-fashioned book launch party.

Anastas will be a visiting scholar at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio.  He will deliver at talk on his essay "The Foul Reign of Emerson's 'Self-Reliance" in conjunction with the artist Todd Slaughter's exhibition "American Primitives."

Longfellow Books in Portland, Maine has been an indie fixture since it opened right off of Monument Square a little more than ten years ago.  Anastas will be reading from "Too Good to Be True" at 7PM and wondering why he doesn't live in Portland!
