Anastas will be a visiting scholar at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio.  He will deliver at talk on his essay “The Foul Reign of Emerson’s ‘Self-Reliance” in conjunction with the artist Todd Slaughter’s exhibition “American Primitives.”
